Thomas Gfeller has been the CEO of the Switzerland Innovation Foundation since 2024. Prior to this role, he was co-founder and chairman of the board of Switzerland Innovation Park in Biel/Bienne, where he also served as Delegate for Economic Affairs. He serves as chairman or board member for several Swiss industrial companies.

Born in 1971, Thomas is a Swiss citizen and holds a PhD in philosophy as well as a degree in economics from the University of Bern. He began his professional career at the global strategy consulting firm Bain & Company.
